There are so many wonderful lines in this play that have made it into our everyday speech…eg. “to thine ownself be true”. I find it to be a philosophical play and it examines many aspects of being human.
Shakespeare was and is the roots of modern novels and movies! I read Hamlet in 12th grade, and my teacher was wonderful. I actually enjoyed it and really look for foreshadowing, symbolism, and all sorts of things I usually was unaware of. I myself am writing a book, and had it half done when I read Hamlet, and realized how I myself have been foreshadowing. Hamlet also is a good character study, and helps you understand parts of yourself and others. We all end up food for worms anyway!
because hamlet is part of the great world literature.
Are you sure you want to be a teacher?
Read Hamlet yourself, then you will know why.
lucky u see u in college just try to pick an easy book and make sure the book is short 2 thankx
cuz it’s Hamlet.. everyone reads it once in their life…
